PRESS RELEASE: July 12, 2001
Infocrossing Inc. and Colo Solutions announce Strategic Alliance to Provide Managed Services in Tier-2 and Tier-3 Cities
Infocrossing’s IFOXcenter Managed Services to be available through Colo Solutions’ Sixteen Carrier-Neutral Colocation Facilities
Leonia, New Jersey…July 12, 2001… Infocrossing, Inc. (IFOX), a premier provider of enterprise systems management and infrastructure outsourcing solutions, and Colo Solutions, the leading provider of Carrier-Neutral Colocation facilities in tier-2 and tier-3 cities, today announced a three year strategic alliance to deliver automated managed services in 16 cities across the United States. The agreement enables Colo Solutions to offer and implement Infocrossing’s IFOXcenter managed services, and provides Infocrossing with the ability to offer and utilize Colo Solutions’ carrier-neutral data centers to deliver end-to-end managed infrastructure solutions. Enterprise companies operating in tier-2 and tier-3 cities now have access to a full suite of managed services that improve availability, speed the return on technology investments, and limit operational expenses.
“We believe Infocrossing offers one of the most thorough Remote Managed Services packages on the market today and we are pleased to be able to offer these services to colocation clients, third party data centers, and private enterprise clients in our tier-2/3 cities,” said Ron Stafford, President and CEO of Colo Solutions. “Managed services will be a strong compliment to our existing carrier-neutral colocation facility offerings.”
Infocrossing's remote monitoring starts with InfoCap, an innovative data capture device that monitors all critical components of the customer's environment, including servers, network elements, storage devices, operating systems, databases and applications. The information generated by these devices is continuously monitored by Infocrossing’s 24 x 7 Command Center and available to the client anytime, anywhere through a unique web portal.
“Companies in tier-2 and tier-3 cities have a significant need for managed services because they are typically mid-size enterprises that depend on technology to drive their business, but often lack the resources of larger competitors in tier-1 markets,” stated Michael Wilczak, Vice President of Business Development at Infocrossing. “We believe Colo Solutions best understands these markets, based on their extensive colocation facilities footprint and their demonstrated commitment to providing value added solutions, and we are pleased to form this alliance to reach customers in tier-2 and tier-3 cities,” he continued.
Colo Solutions and Infocrossing plan to offer these services immediately in 16 cities across the United States. For additional information on the locations, products, and services please contact Colo Solutions at (407) 210-2480.
