Meet the team behind Colo Solutions.
Clayton purchased Colo Solutions on May 9, 2018. Clayton’s focus is to maintain the customer experience for which Colo Solutions’ is known while continuing to build upon the past success of the business.
Prior to Colo Solutions, Clayton obtained extensive carrier-neutral colocation industry experience with two national colocation providers. First, with Switch & Data Facilities Company, Inc., headquartered in Tampa, Florida, through multiple acquisitions, organic growth, its IPO and ultimately its sale to Equinix, Inc. in 2010. Then Clayton joined The Telx Group, LLC, headquartered in New York, New York, and participated in its rapid growth and ultimate sale to Digital Realty Trust in October of 2015. Clayton has a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida.
Ed Nuckols has been with Colo Solutions since its inception in 1997. He has more than 18 years in the technology industry with in-depth experience in Network Engineering and most recently in developing the Colo Solutions Cloud Architecture. Ed is responsible for overseeing data center operations and cloud system architecture/management. His knowledge of networking and Information Technology has positioned Colo Solutions as a leader in data center colocation and cloud services.
Before coming to Colo Solutions Ed held a position with Excellence Online where he began his career as a customer support technician and quickly expanded into a Server and Network Engineer. Ed maintains several industry certifications with both Juniper and Cisco. He also holds certifications with Microsoft, including Microsoft Solutions Associate. Ed attended Valencia College where he earned an AA in 2012 and then began work on his Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Network Administration at Western Governors University with an expected graduation date of May 2020.
Shaun is responsible for the security of the datacenter including access card management, video surveillance and daily physical evaluation of the datacenter. Additionally, Shaun provides Level 1 Technical Support for Colo Solutions data center and cloud services along with trouble ticket management. He serves as the primary interface to our cloud and data center users.
Shaun has extensive experience as a help desk technician as well as network administrator duties.
